Welcome to the website for the 2nd Coatbridge Scout Group, one of the oldest scout groups in scouting. On the following pages you will find details about scouting for young people within the 2nd Coatbridge Scout Group. There is also a collection of photographs taken throughout the sections in a wide range of events and activities.

The Scout Association provides scouting for young people aged between 6-25 years old, male and female from all walks of life. The association is part of the Scout Movement which has around 28 million members around the globe. In the UK there are around 1/2 million members.

Scouting is about being with friends, working as an individual and as part of a team, participating fully in the adventure and opportunities of life and of course having as much fun as possible.
